Frozen Leaf

Frozen Leaf

Frozen Leaf

Same trip in the forest of La Hulpe but different day. This morning the sun was coming out, the sky was clear and it looked like a great opportunity to take photos.

Well I discovered that taking photos in the forests isn’t quite the same as usual landscape. Actually as the sun isn’t high up in the sky in the mornings it doesn’t reach into the forest. And one normally doesn’t have too much sky on forest shots. So I didn’t actually need to get up that early.

Now that’s not totally true because this frozen leaf wouldn’t have been frosty like this if I had come later.

It’s an HDR photo and I had to work on it in Lightroom a little.

Details: Aperture: f/18  –  Exposure: 0.8 sec  –  Focal lengths: 55mm

Wow! I just got into photography. Bought myself a nice Sony and I have been trying out all sorts of different styles. This one is so unique but so well laid out and I love the colors. Great job!

Simply stunning. I would never have thought of trying an HDR photo of a leaf. Thanks for opening my eyes to new possible subjects!
