Forest Sunrise

Forest Sunrise in La Hulpe Forest

In La Hulpe forest, well actually the village or city is mainly a forest, castle and hotel.

In my previous post I mentioned that the morning shots of the forest aren’t that easy as the sun isn’t very visible. I guess this photo is an exception to that – no actually not really as this was at the edge of the forest so I got the sun shining in.

Autumn forest photos are great, I love the colors the yellow and red leaves everywhere.

It’s an HDR photo (which I retouched in lightroom) with the following details: Aperture: f/18  –  Exposure: 0.6 sec  –  Focal lengths: 18mm

  1. Exceptional shot! I love foliage shots and this one includes a great scene at sunrise.

  2. This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

  3. You have a knack for capturing beautiful flares from the light (the sun in this instance) and the small aperture really nicely produces the starburst effect. Love it – great job!!
