Rue du Cinema. The belly of Forum des Halles.

In Paris there is an underground city by Chatelet called, Forum des Halles. It’s several levels underground of concrete and stores.

Aesthetically speaking, it’s pretty ugly, it may have looked nice when they built it but that’s about it.

But in this underground maze the corridors have street names, numbers and even a postal code.

On Cinema street, they have a pretty funky air conditioning and lighting system. As I was going to the movie I thought this could make a cool shot.

Here’s it is in HDR, well it lacks color (yes that’s one of the great things with concrete) and the shot would probably have been better taken a little more to the right.
