Yesterday I went to the Parc de Sceaux to try and get some sunset shots with the D300. The sunset was not as great as I had hoped and the parc was going to shut before I could get a “blue hour shot” and besides, there are no lights in the parc so blue hour shot would be pretty dark.
As I was walking around the park looking for interesting point of views, I saw the sun setting behind the trees reflecting in the lake.
I shot this in HDR (with a tripod this time) and retouched it in lightroom to darken the sky a bit.
One thing that impressed me though is how much more efficient Lightroom changes such as removing noise and sharpening are with the Nikon photos. I wonder if that is because of the lower pixel count.
Gorgeous colours!
Great shot man. Love the warm and cool contrast. Geez, first the lovely bokeh, then a great landscape shot — I came looking for an HDRspotting code and I’ve gone and found myself yet another inspirational blog. I was directed to this blog from this address:

I sincerely hope I am in luck with my goal of obtaining a code. However, either way, I’m happy to have stumbled upon your wonderful blog.
Cristof, did you get the HDRspotting code?
image of my dream!c 🙂 Very nice, Martin! this photo calms me!
